Te Aratika
Te Aratika is for tamariki aged anywhere from 7 – 14 years of age to help set them on the ‘right path’.
The programme contains an environmental theme with subtle elements of forestry. The core elements of the programme are based on ‘STEAM Education’, ie. using Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Design and Maths.
The primary objectives of these programmes are actively engaging participants by fostering a fun learning environment in preparation for the years ahead at intermediate, secondary and tertiary level.
Children participating need to be affiliated to the Lake Taupō Forest Trust, Lake Rotoaira Forest Trust or Ngāti Tūwharetoa.
